DATA ANALYST – Belgrade, Serbia
Nordeus seeks a skilled, positive, and energetic Data Analyst to join our team! The successful candidate will have excellent SQL-writing ability, and enjoy combining analytic skills with business acumen to provide our teams with the data and insights that will drive our continued success. The Data Analyst works with key decision-makers on a daily basis as a data-driven advisor and partner on strategic issues. The candidate should enjoy both working with people and performing technical analyses.
Responsibilities:
- Provide reporting and performance monitoring to development teams using data drawn from diverse sources
- Perform detailed data exploration and validation to separate genuine phenomena from spurious anomalies
- Develop new insights and analyses that inform decisions and help us continue to delight the people playing our games
Required Skills:
- Several years experience performing quantitative analysis, preferably for an internet or technology company
- Excellent SQL skills: extensive experience querying large, complex data sets
- High proficiency with Excel including pivoting capabilities and analysis modules
- Working knowledge of basic statistics
- Ability to execute research projects, and generate practical results and recommendations
- Good client management skills with a strong grasp of both technical and business perspectives
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and to meet changing deadlines and priorities on multiple simultaneous projects
- Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
- Enjoy working in both individual and team settings
- B.S. or B.A. in math, economics, engineering or other technical field required; advanced degrees a plus

WEB ANALYTICS SPECIALIST – Belgrade, Serbia
Nordeus is looking for a strong analyst to join our growing product team! The Web Analytics Specialist will be responsible for end to end oversight and management of the company’s Google Analytics and In House Data System implementation and drive metrics and insights that lead to continuous improvement: gathering and documenting business requirements, working with developers to implement, testing, deploying and building out reports to guide the business and UI design decisions. This critical role will be the primary analyst providing regular and ad-hoc analysis and regular reporting to decision makers and stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Research, recommend, and deploy tools needed to provide instant and pinpoint metrics covering click stream, site user behavior, and funnel reporting for our customer support site
- Work with internal teams to understand business priorities, and create and configure tools and reports to meet and report on those needs with data analysis and recommendations
- Serve as the primary web/online data analyst to provide key top level reporting on channel and product performance, various levels of conversion and funnel tracking, and click stream analysis
- Drive optimization roadmap and ongoing initiatives: define testing protocol (A/B, multi-variant, etc) including planning, set up process, write test projections and forecasts, and measure performance to plan
- Monitor site performance and data to recognize trends, model data and forecasts and drive improvements in the site experience, and recommend expanded testing capabilities to better support our business objectives
Required Skills:
- 2-4 yrs of relevant experience implementing, managing and using Google Analytics and other tools such as Coremetrics, WebTrends, HBX in a web customer service or retail environment
- Excellent quantitative skills and an understanding of statistics and trending
- Proven record of implementing analytics and processes and mining data for insights that have demonstrated a proven positive impact on the business
- Strong Excel skills to analyze and model business performance
- Knowledge of common reporting and data mining tools (Crystal Reports, SQL, Oracle, Business Objects, MicroStrategy, Cognos)
- Strong understanding of A/B and multivariate testing. Experience with optimization tools like Google Optimizer, etc.
- Experience developing internal and customer facing reports and tools that focus both on functionality and usability
- Ability to work in a fast paced, iterative programming environment
- BS in CS, statistics, analytics, and related work experience
