Nordeus releases Top Eleven mobile app for iPhone and iPod Touch

The most played online sports game crosses over to iOS

Belgrade, Serbia. November 23, 2011 – Social games developer Nordeus today announces its first iOS app with the release of Top Eleven for iPhone and iPod touch. The football (soccer) management game, that is currently played by over three million Android and Facebook users every month, is available to download via Apple’s App Store for free.

Top Eleven lets would-be football managers select, train and build their own squad of players to compete against friends and other players over the course of a 28-day season. Those at the top of the league can relish in the glory of promotion into the next league, facing tougher opponents and with the rewards of more money, better players and the lure of the Champions Cup. Managers are also responsible for every detail of running the club, from developing players careers, picking the best sponsorship deals and building new stadium facilities.

“We aim to provide a seamless gaming experience for our Top Eleven fans no matter what device you’re using.” said Branko Milutinović, Nordeus CEO. “You can kick off a Top Eleven game on a desktop, and if you have to pop out at half-time you can now continue to follow your game on your iPhone.”

This latest mobile version of Top Eleven follows on from the Android version of Top Eleven last month, making this the first truly cross-platform football management title. Already, Top Eleven has had over 80,000 downloads from the Android Market, with an average review rating of 4.4/5. Top Eleven for iPhone and iPod Touch has been optimized for the latest version of iOS 5, and works across iPhone 4S, iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS as well as on the iPod Touch.

Whilst Top Eleven is free to download, players can use in-app purchases to buy tokens, allowing for faster development and progression through the game.

“Since launching the mobile version of Top Eleven we’ve seen the average daily players of the game increase, as well as an increase in the frequency of check-ins. Players are spending more time within the game to help their team’s progress,” said Branko Milutinović. Nordeus was recently picked as the best European gaming startup in the prestigious Europas awards. Their Top Eleven game became the most played sports game on Facebook after it overtook gaming giant Electronic Arts’ EA SPORTS FIFA Superstars in June 2011.
